Sri Swayambhu Siddhivinayak Temple Rejinthal

Sri Swayambhu siddhivinayak temple located at Zaheerabad – Beedar main road Rejinthal. This temple is about 10 Kms from Zaheerabad and is famous in this region. Devotees from Andhra, Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka throng to get blessings. This temple is run by Kanchi kamakoti authorities and is crowded by devotees all time.

As the lord is facing south, he is decorated with Sindhoor same like Hanuman. About 208 years ago temple was built.


History of Sri Swayambhu siddhivinayak temple: 


Once there was thick forest, a tourist name Shivaram Pantulu came to Rejinthal covering many temples and other places. Once he reached this place he felt very happy from inner soul so he lived for few days in meditation. During meditation lord appeared and ordered to build a temple and perform daily rituals.

In this temple sankata chaturthi is celebrated as one of the famous rituals. After performing this ritual devotee believe that lord will remove all kinds of obstacles and bless them with peaceful life. If Sankashtahara chaturthi and Tuesday come on same day then it is believed to be auspicious day and we find temple over crowded with devotees. Also on Vinayaka Chavithi we find special poojas.

Every year from pushya suddha padyam to pushya suddha chaturthi Sri siddhivinayak birthday celebrations are performed. During this celebration devotees perform rituals with sahasra modakas and 451 Ganesh Havana’s, shata chandi Havana, sapatha lakh Lakshmi Ganapathi Havana’s

Transport: 


Road: Zahirabad is about 13 km from Rejinthal.

Rail: Matalkunta Rail Way Station is the nearest rail station. However Gulbarga Rail Way Station can be considered as major railway station which is about 109 Kms to Rejinthal.
